FREE Red Mangrove – Hui o Hoʻohonua (HOH808) / Mālama Puʻuloa(04-22-2021)
HOH808 is a non-profit working to restore a nonprofit working to restore ʻaina momona to Puʻuloa (Pearl Harbor). Currently, our biggest project is chainsawing 21 acres of mangrove to uncover historic loko iʻa (traditional Hawaiian fishponds) and loʻi (taro patches).
We have tons of green waste. It’s free for the taking.
Items for Sale: Koa Logs (02-10-21)
A koa tree recently came down across the road. We were able to salvage the bulk of what was solid and brought them out of the mountain. Logs are between six and thirteen feet long and are four to eleven inches in diameter. The price for decked logs are $22 per board foot. See link for forest product price list.
