Re-use Hawai‘i

Re-use Hawai‘i

Re-use Hawai‘i is an environmental nonprofit with a kuleana to cultivate the Circular Economy, stand as a community resource, & mālama ‘āina. We have salvaged wood products and locally milled tree slabs. As a nonprofit, all of our items are sales tax-free.

Our Local Tree Reclamation Program turns locally-felled trees into milled slabs for the community to purchase. These slabs can be purchased online for pickup in person, or at our Kaka‘ako location. We currently have Monkeypod and Norfolk Pine slabs for sale. We are accepting tree donations (& other items); all donations come with a tax-deductible receipt.

Our Deconstruction & Redistribution programs are sustainable alternatives to wasteful practices where we convert tons of ʻōpala into valuable community resources & lower the cost of living for Hawai‘i residents. These programs provide us with salvaged lumber & other building materials that we sell for 40-90% off retail prices.
